The new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV comes with a nifty new feature that has Adobe hard at work to add support. It comes at no surprise that Adobe is updating their Camera Raw to allow support for new cameras within Photoshop and Lightroom but it is a surprise to learn that the new update will need to support dual-pixel RAW format.
This new version of RAW featured in the 5D Mark IV gives photographers the ability to tweak focus after the shot has been taken. As of the time of this writing, this feature is only supported by Canon's software, Digital Photo Professional.
Canon's 70D featured this new technology as well. CNET has a nice article covering the details behind this new feature here.
